Communication

Trinity Connect

The School's main communications system and parent portal is Trinity Connect. This online system, developed especially for the needs of Trinity parents, provides you with the following functionality:

  • Targeted parent/guardian notice system
  • Personalised calendar view for each student
  • Provision of consent for excursions online
  • Medical and personal particular management
  • Image gallery
  • Policy management for each student
  • Academic report delivery for each student, including a past report archive
  • Personal address book - class representatives, teachers and other parent/guardian contacts.

Your username and login will be provided to you once your child commences in Term 1.

Day-to-day matters

For routine matters, the Class Teacher is the usual point of contact. For matters of greater importance the Head of the Junior School, Mr Grant Nalder or his PA Kate Kasby should be contacted.

It is school policy that parents should have reasonable access to all members of staff. Appointments can be negotiated with staff at any time throughout the term if matters need to be addressed more urgently than the Parent/Teacher interview times already scheduled throughout the year.

Parent-Teacher interview sessions are held during Terms 1 and 3, and a written report is presented at the end of Terms 2 and 4.

Any parent who wishes to speak in person to the Principal of Trinity Grammar School, Kew, may make an appointment to do so by contacting Gayle Barry, Executive Assistant to the Headmaster.

Management of student particulars and family contact details

Complete and accurate records are necessary, not only for the day to day operation of the school but also in the event of illness or accident. It is important for you to advise us of any change in your family’s personal particulars. This will be managed through Trinity Connect.
